HOW THE OSH FORUM WORKS
How the OSH Forum works
The international collaborative dynamic of the OSH Forum is based on the action of two complementary groups :
- on the one hand, the “Experts” who are members of the International Thematic Working Groups (IWGs)
- on the other hand, Member “Organisations” that support the development of the OSH Forum and are invited to endorse the recommendations proposed by the IWG experts.

The Experts
Experts engaged in the International Working Groups may be scientists involved in research, practitioners working on the implementation of operational programmes or public policy professionals. The objective is to bring together experts from different disciplines to share knowledge, practices and regulations ensuring that operational adaptations are made to meet health, environmental and social challenges, as set out in the various work themes.
Experts are invited to share their knowledge and practice, first and foremost on an individual basis, without necessarily expressing the positions of their organisation. This will allow the experts to take a step back from existing actions and to project themselves to 2030 with innovative transdisciplinary approaches.
Member Organisations
The ” Member Organisations Committee ” meets every 3 weeks for an update on the IWGs activities, upcoming events and the introduction of new members. Member Organisations are invited to react to the recommendations from the various IWGs, validated by the Scientific Council, and to endorse them to collectively provide guidance in terms of operational practices and advocacy.

Interaction between Experts and Member Organisations
The OSH Forum works on the basis of an organised interaction between the Experts on the one hand and the Member Organisations on the other, in a collaborative dynamic maintained by the common objective of moving towards new transdisciplinary operational practices :
